The medieval fishing village of Torekov in southwest Sweden, has gone from having a Scania nobility and the locals, to becoming a sanctuary for the expats and the Stockholm elite. The mission and ambition of this project is to bring an old grocery store / townhouse to life for a family with young children who spend their summers there.

Respect for the "old Torekov" and its connections to the sea, the beaches and the colourful village, creates a base to build on, together with taking into account practicality, flexibility and to provide a bit of international air. House of Bennet was commissioned to reconstruct & refurbish the whole house, which became a 5 bedroom, 3 living room house plus a pool house & a guest cottage.
