The House of Bennet was formed as a result of an ambition to create interiors where every room sings, where Pernilla has been creative director and project manager for almost a decade. After an equally long experience in the home textiles and fashion industry, and an MA (Hons)(1st) in Interior Design in the UK, in addition to the already existing Bachelors of economics, textile technology and fashion design . Pernilla has strengthened this already rich knowledge base through continuous studies. This includes subjects such as art history, fashion forecasting, film in relation to fashion, European history and environmental textiles.

The House of Bennet’s work is underpinned by a strong understanding of architecture and design and shaped by a passion for art, history and the richness of different cultures, which is elucidated by the selection of FF&E, colour & pattern schemes.

To reflect an owner or residents of a property in their interiors, by paying tribute to and reflect the owner’s experiences through an expression of art, furniture, textiles, materials or collected objects creates meaning. Additionally, to consider the surroundings and the buildings history reinforces the authenticity, creating added value by telling its story visually.
The House of Bennet invest a substantial amount of time to develop relationships with talented crafts people, rather than only sourcing “off-the-shelf”, which provides the clients with bespoke, high -quality and original design as well as upscaling. Interior architecture at the House of Bennet is about design-supply-install projects with project leading included, as well as all the services separately to adapt to each client’s needs.
